She shines with a subdued flickering light,
she makes men marvel over her radiance,
for the life of them they cannot figure out their attraction.
Is it her full body,
supple curves,
or beautiful smile?
Or is it her intelligence,
with a hint of a certain humbleness,
letting him know that she'll never go for a one night stand?
Voice soothing as a mothers;
she listens first and is slow to speak.
She emits rays of light in darkness,
she's that untouched reflection in water,
she has the spiritual afterglow of a newborn baby,
but the physical appearance of a full grown woman.
She shimmers,
brighter than a prism that has just been hit by sunlight.
She shimmers;
with more colors than a kaleidoscope could ever display.
And the angels of heaven stand rejoicing at yet another soul saved.
She's basking in the afterglow of being pushed out of the womb at 26 years old,
she's yet born again,
and she has the one thing that baffles these men,
she has Christ himself living within.

A lovely piece...
A lovely piece; quite the catchy title and marveleous text; when filled with God's spirit, the afterglow is His Spirit leaking out, thus allowing us to draw all men unto Him; wonderfully done. --Joe
