In my dream
I'm sitting on the canyon wall
Then I jump
I feel the wind rush through my hair
I reach for the stars above me
I close my eyes and cherish the moment
It's not until seconds before impact
That I realize my fear
Because I will not exist
much longer
I wake up
I'm sitting on the canyon wall
Do I jump and live my dream?
or
Sit, and dream of living?

Nice thoughts here. We live on the fence at times, I am afraid. I would like to see how this reads with some tuning up of filler words, perhaps different line breaks, etc. Thanks for your time.

Wow, this is very intense. It kinda freaked me out for a second when it said you woke up.... on the canyon wall. Then I realized that it wasn't a sleeping type of dream, hehe. I've asked myself nearly the same thing many times. Great job and good luck in the contest!
