Your Bible

I feel God breathes through your Bible
For the bindings are wearing
Pages wrinkled as Moses’ skin
I feel God breathes…

Your name on the front cover
He has your name in His heart
You traced his words in red ink
He traced your salvation in red blood

I feel God breathes through your Bible
For your greasy fingerprints form a path
With Him through the truths of testament
I feel God breathes…

Some stare at your most precious book
Yet what is a dust cover but a dust cover
Let your faith be always open like these pages
Let His grace fill up the noted margins

I feel…I feel…God ALIVE in your Bible
Cause not even stones can hold His laws
Cause not even wood can hold back His plan
Cause not even rainbows can write out His promise

So why can God breathe in your Bible?
Because the touch of His Spirit is tender
And His Spirit lives in you every day
As you read quietly out of your Bible

Please tell me what you think

This is Diaz. I'm not sure how I replied under "He is the light," but it'll do for now.

This is exactly what my pastor preached about on Sunday! I think your last two lines really summed everything up. Do you sit quietly or are you sharing your passion with others? My favorite stanza is "Your name on the front cover
He has your name in His heart
You traced his words in red ink
He traced your salvation in red blood"
I think there are MANY people who need to read this in order to get the message of what really matters.
