Awakened... un-showered, internal solitude shattered,
without refuge, like hare in brier, startled and tattered
immobilized, daggered in knee's caps, heart exhausted,
begging for extension of life... one sweet and frosted
exiled, waiting, clinging to cherished breath,
franticly searching for ways, to cheat death
how could it all be lost, when eyes opened to powder?
I think back, reviewing life... as the end gets louder
seduced by phantoms, enticed by their vision, and beliefs,
I inhaled deep... one last time, then life... I released
