Forty watt sun bids swallows farewell
as clouds bleed colour from fractured ideas,
dipping clippings deep into soul-less feats
of like minded: but misguided, mushroom blinded,
myopic heirs and their throttled cares,
held behind bowed lips taut like cat-gut,
that got the tongue before retorts were released.
The pretties adorn candle wax flesh
with thorns meshed, leech letting
the rouge to cover lies hanging in black eyes,
above a skeleton key for a lock not found
that releases a switch, discovered in the sound
of recovered possibilities, and maybe then
synchronicity will meld to thoughts and actions.

A very in depth piece of penning. Abstract and wonderfully descriptive in essence. Nice rhyme and flow. Thank you so much for your entry!
