Although I know not where I go to,
I feel it's my duty to tell you
As I'm pulled toward the ether
You must know that either
That wallpaper goes, or I do.
Author notes
Wilde's final words were "Either that wallpaper goes, or I do." It wasn't on the linked list, but it's my favorite Wilde quote.

Yes, mine too--and si non e vero, e ben trovato! A good idea to use Wilde to provide the kick that a limerick needs for the finish.
Since you care about metre, would you mind if I told you that your lines don't quite jibe for me? For instance, for this as a limerick, line 5 needs an extra two syllables ("That wallpaper goes, or else I do").

I love that qoute as well. I can only hope that my last words as as humerous and filled with acceptence as his were. I really need to read some of his work, rather than just his quotes, though.

Yesh, to be that lucid and peaceful at death's door is something we should all aspire to.
If you haven't read much of his work, I'd start with The Importance of Being Earnest. I think it's his wittiest work, and really shows his gift for wordplay.
