Negative

If the whole world were a negative
And black was really white
Would we see beyond the celluloid
And make all evils right

Please tell me what you think

I agree with the comments below, 4 lines of brilliance. It's not often that happens on this site, it has to be said.

    Brillant!!

Once again you have penned a brillant poem with such meaning. The negativity in this world is felt beyond all barriers and oceans and you only had to say this in four meaningful lines. You are a brillant poetress my friend. Your friend in Poetry...Mysty Rain aka Sylvia

Do you know....I never gave racism a thought when reading this superb piece - it just made me think on your last line and wonder. Deserves applause. I just approve of brevity.

    Four lines of brilliance!!!

"If the whole world were a negative, and black was really white..." Your line has terrific imagery. When reading this, I'm thinking of "Picture Imperfect". It's taken from the lines. "Would we see beyond the celluloid and make all evils right" Of course, the reasons for racism came from people who failed to see character other than color. You're more angered with this outgoing problem than I am. I'm glad you're here to educate the world through your words and verses.
