.
My love sent me a tender kiss,
that landed on me,
as soft and gentle,
as a butterfly with aching feet.
It lingered tenderly sweet,
through delirious hours all night.
With parched lips I dared not sip,
less I lose the poignant taste.

This is such a beautiful write, which flows so beautifully. "With parched lips I dared not sip, less I lose the poignant taste". This is such an amazing line. I could feel the love and tenderness here as I was reading through this. WEll done and all the best for the contest.
