Born in 1983
it was a "troubled" life from the start
misdiagnosed with A.D.D.
instead of Bi-Polar Disorder.
She grew up,
in a small town,
surrounding herself in the "wrong" crowd.
She moved into my mother and her girlfriends house,
she tried to get into college
and get some degree,
but that fell,
because she got weak in the knees.
She met the man of her dreams,Teddy,
finally, one heartbreak after another,
and soon a baby appeared.
Not that I'm sure,
whether it was the weed or God
who decided that the baby wasnt for her, yet
took it away
a miscarriage at seven months.
I believe thats when she went off the deep end,
naming her dead baby girl,
Bryanna Leigh Drummond-Taylor.
Soon after, Teddy took her back home,
surely she was deranged and still in mourining,
like any mother would be after losing her first baby.
Boyfriend to boyfriend to girlfriend to boyfriend to Donnie
the last person she would love.
Pills and drugs surrounding her,
some small way to forget the imagine of her dead baby born.
A downhill spiral from the start.
And the last blow
hit her with fifty years and probably more.
So she had to end it
eighty-nine Zanex
and alcohol to include
a suicide for the broken hearted aunt.
From 1983 to April 4th 2008
she taught me one thing:
Carpe Diem!
Author notes
So yeah
thats basically my Aunt Ashlee
who will be missed
more in death than in life
R.I.P.
to the extreme
but she was awesome
and insane (in a good way)
and at least she's with her baby, and her dad.
