Children are more than what meets the eye;
If you look deep inside,
You can see things that often hide.
When their little voices go unheard,
Well thats just absurd.
This society is pushing them away,
More and more each day.
Children hold our future deep within,
Without them it wont know where to begin.
They often have more wisdom than you or I,
And that you simply cannot deny.
Adults think they can treat children wrong,
"Becuase it makes them strong."
Little do they know,
Their tearing them as they go.
Just because children aren't as big,
Doesn't mean they can treat them like some pig.
Pushing and pulling until they get their way,
Not even caring if the childs okay.
Some adults can be very cruel,
They should see that children are special jewels.
They dont deserve to be hurt,
Or thrown in the corner like a speck of dirt.
A child is too young to fight this battle alone,
Yet adults continue breaking them to the bone.
I must say that not all adults are the same,
But now-a-days its all just some game.
And if your in the way you're gonna get played,
Mostly by ones you love leaving you betrayed.
Children are precious and deserve to be handled with care,
Not with a fist or evil glare.
If we, the people of this word, would open up your eyes,
We would sure get a surprise.
Becuase children are more than most think they are,
Something much brighter than any star.
You just need to take some time to listen,
And maybe you can make a childs life glisten.

Society has so many negative views on children so here is your chance to speak your mind.
Or how children are treated by adults who think they are not to be heard.
It can be anything from the abuse of children...
