So much anger,
Too much fury and rage
I can be peaceful
Then suddenly burst out,
Just as a stack of hay
Bursts into deadly flames
At a tiny spark!
Anger is a beast!
At times, it would slowly accumilate,
Unnoticed, while one is unaware,
Then it begins to grow
Like a poisonous weed,
Constantly feeding and never dying.
Then at a tiny flicker
All the wallowing bursts,
It explodes the cage,
And comes out wreaking havoc
At all who are present!
Bloody, evil and hurtful thoughts
Begin to rush through one’s mind.
Painful yet unfelt
And they continue to flow
Like an angry volcano
That unleashes its fury!
These angry thoughts hurt me,
And make me want to toss things,
Break things, see pain, feel others’ pain,
Hurt and see blood and tears!
These angry thoughts hurt me.
They make me afraid;
Afraid that I might hurt someone;
Hurt the ones closest to me!
And yet I cannot control it.
My patience and calmness
Have died and have been replaced
By what would ignite at the tiniest spark!
