Did he laugh that way before?
The smile that begins with a soft curve—
a slight smirk constantly dancing in the left corner—
and occasionally the light that flickers in his eyes brightening
before he closes his eyelid in pretense of wiping away imagery tears
and the heartfelt laughter that always begins with a chuckle,
was this how he laughed?
When I replay those videos, each time it sounds different,
and when I try to recall the memories, each time it gets fuzzier.
Did he laugh that way before?
Please tell me what you think

I do like this poem very much
but i question how relivent it is to the contest
I can see that it is about missing somone, but it wasn't quiet what i was looking for.
I will definatly revisit it though, the quality of this piece may just make me change my mind -
this poem is probably my favorite in the contest its written beautifully but im sorry it doesnt really fit my contest besides the word 'dancing' in the third line it really doesn't have much to do with dancing.
however id like to say good luck in the other contest im sure this poem will do really well!! -
i like how the poem just focused on his laughter. hah every poem i read jumps all over the place like people lose their train of thoughts and yours didnt. it was nicely written.
thanks for entering and good luck>3 -
Eloquence
I found it to be captivating and a little bit suprised to discover that you're describing a romantic fantasy...haha... I would have never guessed that you were the romantic type goosey...^-^
Anyways, good job and keep up the good work!
