As the sun peeps out from between
the lamb-like cloudlets
which the morning breeze
is herding across the sky,
I wander alone by the lake
where waves toss their heads
and spray the shore with white spume.
In the lakeside meadow,
under tall, dark, gesticulating trees,
daffodils flutter and dance
side by side in the breeze,
nodding their heads in approval
of the beneficence
of the smiling sun.

This made me feel very...peaceful.
Spring hasn't hit my town fully yet
but this poem makes me remember what
spring time feels like, even though
it's not about spring.
I loved how you used lambs as
clouds because the two are perfect
comparisons and they work great in this
poem.
Good job!
