With greedy, grubbing hands
I grasped for posessions- fed the need
to amass my self worth
It was never enough...
Spiraling into a cocoon of depression
how often I wondered
Is this all there is--
Finding the truth has given me wings
I already have it all,
the real treasure is within me...

Strong and flowing...
this called to mind Pacino in Scarface (the
restaurant scene). So vivid are these moments
of life realization. You paint one well here.

This is really good! You captured the feeling we all have at one time or another; to recognize our own self worth.
