Miss hissing like snake
children shrank
their dress became bigger
looked for release
laughter and play come easy
what miss wants
difficult to comply
uneasy in the class
eagar to hear bell
she did not mind
only out performance
of kids in class
pinches them to study
without letting them play or sing
smart feign unwell
find way from drudgery
dull become studious
fare well in the class
Author notes
Angry miss scare the children, who want to play and revel

Sounds like one of my teachers that I had last year. She was a pain in the bum
I must admit this was a little scattered and a re-read too add in a few words here in there might help; but all round this was a pretty awesome piece of work
Good luck with your entry ^^

Ahhh. This is a lovely poem but does not adhere to the contest specs with rhyme and meter.
However, a good poem none-the-less.
Thank you for your entry. ~Pamela
