I knew what I wanted to say,
But all the words got in the way.
Leaving me stranded
In an all-too-familiar place.
Just when I had it all planned
Everything hit the fan.
Then the confusion came
And now it’ll never be the same.
I love you.
The thought stuck in my mind,
Time after time because
Words failed me again.
