Hatred!
Oh, hypocrisy
Churn the depths of mine innards.
Direct thy curse'd words toward Heav'n
Let thy God weep of thine ignorance
For deep are the wounds you've inflicted
Upon yourself,
Upon the Lamb.
You softly speak love to the Father,
But act in a covenant with Babylon.
May those that look upon you be blind to your acts.
The light of His Wonders and Sacrifice cover them.
Their eyes be burned by fire
And forever cooled by Living Water,
Never to witness the world's fallacies.
God bear with us,
Bless us with Your Mercy,
Forgive us...

this is an amazing write. I don't usually get to read religious poems but when i do, they are wonderful. that last line "God bear with us, Bless us with Your Mercy, Forgive us..." really touched me because in this world and time, we need a lot of that. God of course forgives us, but only if we ask for it and promise to never do it again... He loves us no matter what, even if he doesn't approve of what we're doing. I have to always remember that. Great job... I love it...
