Once again I am lost in confusion,
Lost in the illusion
That someday it'll be.
Happiness, so they say
Comes from living the right way,
Leading the right life,
Following the right path.
Which is my path?
I'd love to know
"Lead me there!"
I say to God.
But he knows I know
I feel it deep in my soul.
The path is clear,
My heart full of fear
Of losing it all
Of having to fall.
What if things aren't how I wanted?
What if it's all just an illusion?
Once again I am lost in confusion.

I wrote this a wile ago, in the middle of my 'writer's block'last year, didn't feel it was good enough to publish, but say the title of the contest and got reminded of it and deciced to just go for it and post it.

Brilliantly thought out. Well written with a meaningful purpose. To find the steps required, and see without blinkers the path to walk, is something I think we all can admit too at times.
