I told you I love you,
I meant it then,
And I still mean it now.
I am trying to be your friend,
But it is hard to do,
When all I want is to hold you.
Every time I see you,
I have to catch my breath,
Because of how beautiful you are.
Every time you sing,
I have to steady myself,
Or I will fall from the affect you have on me.
You just want to be my friend,
But I can see that you are hesitant,
Because you know how I feel.
You want to convince yourself that it is not true,
But if you ever need Proof,
Just look into My Eyes,
And you will know I am telling the truth.
