No longer does my angel watch over my dreams,
Alone in the night he’s left me with only the screams.
Empty unsure almost dead, I live for the moments when I
Can hear only his voice in my head.
Cursing him for leaving me here alone, Numb for all of time
With out his cold hands. I wonder if each day is worth it now.
Reckless stunts, with motorbikes and endless lost searching hikes,
How could he no longer care.
His promise broken, I am left alone to stare into the new moon and empty
Night no mater what happens now I will lose this fight.
Someone helps ease the pain, but he is not the one I long for and,
Cringe when I hear his name.
We dance the dance and I could make him mine,
But who wants the broken Juliet?
Has it come to light? Where was my crime?
Was he telling the truth or was it a lie?
I sit here remembering that always you would protect me,
and I can't understand now why you would leave.

This will always be a personal favorite of mine. I think we all feel like this at one time or another. Your word choice is phenomenal.
"We dance the dance and I could make him mine,
But who wants the broken Juliet?"
This is my favorite line. Bella has a lot of power, although she doesn't realize it sometimes. She also has a lot of self-doubt. That balance of the enchantress and the fool is what makes her so interesting as a character. Once again, masterfully done.

I've been living the life of Bella since Jan. and while I still have my Jake, I love full heartedly my edward and hope that maybe he might come back. This was a fun write because I could let out a lot of emotions that I have been keeping inside...

Holy cow and a half! *squeal of glee* This one is great! The way you describe Bella's pain: just wow. This one is definitely going on the finals list. Wow. Bravo poet. Good luck in the contest.
