Springing Forth

A pure white blanket that coated the ground,
Disintegrates into the soft earth.
Sky becomes stormy,
Rain begins pouring,
Mud starts forming,
A new season emerges.
Sand that once thickly coated the streets,
Is washed to the side of the road in heaps.
Humidity fills the air.
Rain droplets pour down,
Forming tiny rivers
That stream down side streets.
This is a season of colors,
warmth,
and joy.
It is also a season of awakening,
A season of rebirth.
Ice that has frozen us for so long,
Is shaken off.
The winter was dark,
Cold and dreary.
It’s time to bring some color
Into my life.
The flower buds that start forming
Are like little drops of hope
Planted within my life:
If we treat them right
They may just become something beautiful.
Times have been rough,
But I am ready
To enter the world again.
I emerge from hibernation, desperation far away,
And I arise from my sorrows,
Leaving them behind
And clinging to the buds of hope
That form wherever you least expect it.
The sun rises,
A blazing fireball,
Stepping out into the pink-streaked sky.
I feel ready to rise again too.
I am ready to spring forth.
I am ready to set myself free.

I would love to read this with stanzas. Maybe without a capital letter starting each line. You did have some good imagery here.
