Blind Faith

Faith is like a caged bird
Unable to fly in this life
Trapped by hands of man
Patiently waiting with silent hope
For that almighty day
When the bars disappear
And freedom is all we know

Very insightful poem which gives this reader pause to ponder. Human flaws, rules and chains tend to imprison and lesson the power of our faith and it's promise.

What a deeply insightful write. Too often we are oppressed by this world, and not allowed to dream and hope. Awesome take on the picture and thanks for the hope-filled ending. Thanks for entering and good luck.
