Love can mean so many things
but to me it means just this,
love is a teacher of the heart
not just in a passing kiss.
Love teaches us to rise above
the craziness of this life,
looking beyond the madness
looking beyond all the strife.
Loving ourselves, accepting
who and why and what we are,
doing the best we know now
no matter how near or far.
Love is the precious gift we have
special treasure there to use,
spread it round the best you can
my friend you will never lose.
