Through My Trials and Tribulation

Through my trials and tribulations I weep and I Worship You,
trying to get a prayer through,
laying on my face crying out to You.
But feeling defeated I end up beating the carpet with glassed over eyes filled with tears,
holding fast to what I know;
I still praise You in my storm.
Pain filled heart ready to burst wide open,
holding back questions of why?
Why God must I go through this,
awaiting my answer He stays silent towards me,
discouraged and half angry my mind screams wanting to be set free,
wanting to escape reality,
wanting to give up on everything.
But still im waiting,
clapping my hands,
waiting;
I'm still doing my dance;
waiting;
cross got me bent over dragging my pride with me;
stomping my feet,
evil ever present,
sweat dripping from my brow as blood,
ready to faint I'm still crying out to the Lord.
til He answers:
words of encouragement coming through the scriptures.
"It may have seemed like I left you, but have I not already told you that I will never leave nor forsake you?"
"It may have seemed like you cried your tears in vain, but I was there and not only did I catch all of them; I wiped them away."
"When you were beating the carpet and you couldnt find the words to say I read your heart feeling your pain everytime your fists hit the follicles."
"I watched you drag your cross literally crawling to reach your own destination. Your face showing your determination to make it."
"But I just wanted to let you know that everytime you called on me I was already there!"

Author notes

Of course you may send this to your friend. May the Lord our God be with you at every moment. Your works will not go unnoticed. You are a dear and true friend to him I can see. I dont know him but I want you to let him know that Im praying for him and that just because Ive never seen him doesnt mean I can't love him unconditionally. You be sure to tell him that the doctors dont have the final say; God does. Ive been in a many situations as his and every single time the doctors said no, God said yes. If you'd like, read my authors page. May God Bless You. I originally wrote this poem for my Bishop because of some of the things he was going through. I love him a lot. So Ive decided to use this poem not only for him but to reach others in their time of need.

    deeply felt and heard.....
    for many seek the "miracle"
    instead of being Jesus hands and feet
    how else would we know....
    compassion, mercy, forgive-ness
    and the aching need
    we have for not just God....
    but his beloved children.

    lovely, and inspiring!
    way to write and fill our souls!

    *TEAR* Wow, such a great reminder. I so need this every day. Cause I've often thought that God forsake me and wondered where he was when I was crying my heart out and yeah. I think that that is explanation enough, but if you want to know Why I was crying my heart out and weeping bitterly then I guess I could tell you...

    Wonderful

    I love how you used scripture in your poem. This was very passionate for Christ. I know what it is like to bare a cross of our own, every Christian does. Well done!!!

    Strong faith

    has persevered. All parents must let their children walk for themselves. The one thing we are sure of is that they are there at the end to support us or pick us up after we fall. Thanks for sharing, poetess

    Beautiful

    The only thing that i would advise you to do is to change the way that you have lined up your sentences, the way that they are all compacted together makes it kind of cluttered looking. Otherwise, i thought that this was a beautiful poem, great way to put the scriptures into a perspective more for modern days as well. Another thing that i would recommend doing is for you to change the phrase, "Words of encouragement coming through the scriptures" because you aren't directly quoting from the scriptures, you have changed the words, maybe it would be better if you said, "words of encouragement like the ones that come through the scriptures" just an idea.
    Great job! very beautiful poem!

    Its so wonderfun in the times that we dont understand we know that we are still within gods hands even though we cant figure out why these things have to happen we know everything has a purpose in this life so we can lean upon this and only when we reach heaven we will really understand why. But until then we know he will never forsake us as long as we cry out to him.
