"Don't worry, don't worry." I'd say and I'd say.
After three months I was back in the flow;
At I job I have loved, despite the bad pay.
But what happened next- I thought I would know.
But what did I do?
Where did I go?
I could have sworn I was there
Five minutes ago
I wasn't aware--
I wasn't aware
That I had this-- blank stare
I didn't respond to touch, or to sound.
Co-workers thought it was just a scare.
Hoped it was, even, until I fell down.
In room 209 is where I was found,
After my parents had looked round and round.
I looked at my mother and tried to ease her.
But now after three months I'm hospital bound.
All thanks to another grande-mal seizure.
Author notes
I was sitting down getting ready for bed. Herbal tea, Monty Python in the background. I've been excited all week that I'm starting work on Monday. But everyone is kinda afraid.
I had my worst grande mal seizure there. I came in on my only day off that week. 3 crappy things happened- my pants ripped in an inappropriate place. I missed the first severe thunderstorm of the season. Then- the power went out and the register wouldn't work when power returned.
The credit card scanner didn't work, so I would ask customers if they could draw money out of the atm- which doesn't have any stupid charge. Almost all the customers did or used cash. Except one. He threw a half gallon of milk at me. Bam! Grande mal.
Though I think that was one of my luckiest moments ever. A registered nurse was in line. If it wasn't for her I could have has serious injuries from it. I haven't had any form of seizures since surgery- partial, petit/grande mal. Cross your fingers for me.
Okay- now the actual poem. I know the rhythm is off in parts. But considering I was able to just grab a pen and write, I don't think it's too bad. You all know me- I'll take the good, the bad, and the ugly comments
How can I improve?

A carton of milk?
What a clod. Somebody should have slugged him.
Hopefully, the surgery worked and there won't ever be a reoccurrence of the seizures.
As to the poem, it's not bad. It could maybe use a bit of touching up, but nothing serious.
