Sand sifting through
The fingers of time
Taking me back to when
The world was mine
A simpler time
A simpler place
A lover’s mind
A lover’s face
Days spent on the beach
Days spent in the sun
And in the cool of the night
Our time secured as one
A lover’s face
A lover’s mind
A simpler place
A simpler time
The fingers of time
Taking me back to when
The world was mine
A simpler time
A simpler place
A lover’s mind
A lover’s face
Days spent on the beach
Days spent in the sun
And in the cool of the night
Our time secured as one
A lover’s face
A lover’s mind
A simpler place
A simpler time

1988 - St. Andrew's, New Brunswick... and a pub where one of the songs most requested (by me) from two guys that played there was Streets of London. Just listening to the song brings back such wonderful memories....

Hey!
I love this for its sheer simplicity and gut feeling...
Streets of London, folk clubs and bars it's where I still live in my mind and my heart, I used to sing and play this one, tell me, where have all the good times gone?...long time ago....

I often wish for simpler times again.
I like that you kept this concise, and didn't ruin the effect by making it complicated.
