Thanks a lot for always looking out for me.

You've always been there whenever I screwed up in life.

 

You hold my hand and walk me through every danger,

and pat me on the back telling me everything will be alright.

 

You really are a true friend and someone that I can always turn to.

Even when I make the same mistake twice, you're there to help get me through.

 

I remember that time that I got arrested and you came to bail me out.

You didn't even ask me what I did, you just smiled as we walked out.

 

I don't know where I would be today if I had not met you,

    thats what friends are for. to be there when we screw up royally. they laugh with us, instead of at us.. they accept us no matter our faults.. I truly enjoyed reading your poem.. I love this so much, I like your take on the prompt. excellent job.
