From the words of Dr. Mark Becton a minister in Richmond, Virginia.
Prayer invites the believer to the altar or to the table of the Lord.
We were taught to pray as a child but many times we do not know
how to pray.
Sometimes we have to do as Dr. Becton did and that is to simply
ask these words.
"Show us our sin, Lord." The sermon was on Revelations.
"Show us what we ought to do, bend our ears so that we listen."
And when trying that be willing to be still and wait on the Lord.
For our prayers are the petitions to him when we are in danger
from the enemy who is Satan.
The enemies of time is against the fraility of the body and so it is that we must listen to what he is saying to us.
The knowledge that the doctors have is given to them by God and if we believe in healing prayers then we are to listen to his word.
Prayer can and does solve things when we simply ask again
"Show us Lord."
And let thy will be done.
Amen.
