One deep from my heart...
Okay, I'll tell you of the story
from where my scar's had start.
This ones from his beating,
and this ones from his lies,
that ones from truth.
That he kept down deep inside.
This one i lost control,
this one i couldn't take the pain,
the one on my leg is my favorite..
That one i hit the vein.
This one almost left me dead,
this one made greenwood dread.
That one almost got stitches,
just because no one listened.
That ones because he lied to me,
this ones because he cared.
This ones from the guilt...
Of the secrets we both shared.
that ones from a broken promise,
this ones cause he left.
The next ones cause he never came home
that ones just like the rest...
I hope you enjoyed the story's
even though there kinda sad.
But there my life unfortunately...
I guess thats kinda bad?

Interesting
This poem has a lovely flow to it. Structually sound, with strong imagery, and clear illiteration, it takes the reader on a tour of one compelling life.

A very creative and unique poem on the subject of cutting. I enjoyed the repetition and descriptiveness very much. In the final stanza

the pain is something you will forget the scars are what tell you that you are strong. i remember when i would do that to myself and it made me sick. i have different scars from those around me. because of them my soul is black and blue, torn and bloody but what can you expect when your sensitive to the pain of others. dont let anyone make you feel bad you are the only one allowed to do that and i can see hope behind your words.
