I looked inside my closet
Knew what I wanted to wear
Much to my disappointment
It just wasn't there
I searched through every closet
With no luck at all
I knew it couldn't be
In the hampster down the hall
Time was running short
And so I went to see
From amongst dirty clothes
I saw it looking back at me
At first I was so angry
Then I sat down and cried
Til I thought about my filthy sins
Jesus forgave them when He died
Upon that cruel cross of Calvary
He pleaded for me and you
Father please forgive them
For they know not what they do
Then I took a look
In the closet of my mind
I couldn't believe all I found
Things I'd hid behind
Right then and there I began to pray
Lord help me sweep it clean
While repentant tears pored like rain
A new heart was created in me
WHAT'S IN THE CLOSET OF YOUR MIND?
