that I lit on fire in a desperate attempt

The imagery in this is astounding. This is written with a remarkably fresh style that really does feel like outside even with the content of the work. The message (what I make of it) is really quite universal since I feel it deals with disappointment in a loved one who's bathing in self-pity.
