Essence of Two

Feeling with my spirit eyes,

seeing with my spirit body,

listening with my soul.

Walking with human feet

softly treading on paw pads;

feeling emotions in the air,

sniffing change on the winds.

Loving with my whole spirit

touching with my whole heart,

shedding tears as a woman,

yet singing with the wolves.

Sounds, smells and the taste

of desire, heat and light of protection,

the need constricting my human soul,

the knowing is of Mother Earth.

Creator is my form maker

my parents the form givers.

My love sees this in me,

the belief of my soul.

As a Woman I walk,

with the spirit of Wolf inside,

reminding me that I'm never alone

as I tread softly in Truth.

I love the way you show us how the inner senses don't function the same way as the outer ones ... how enchanting to feel with spirit eyes, see with spirit body and listen with soul ...

your poem acts like a rainbow-bridge between worlds ... embracing the tangible realm of matter as well as making perceptible the realm of spirit, usually invisible for those tied to identification with the human condition ...

thank you for this most precious contribution to this contest,
    maa

    outstanding...

Simply stunning reminders for everyone to read of how the Wolf is the main being behind our family, and that of a teacher to all.

The essence of beauty is seen in these words

    'As a Woman I walk,

with the spirit of Wolf inside,

reminding me that I'm never alone

as I tread softly in Truth.'
