I feel his presence in the air
As if to tell me not to fear
It’s as if he’s holding me
If only I could see
He holds me tight not letting go
And his body seems to brightly glow
Giving off a radiant vibe
That he smoothly seems to hide
He’s scared of what he feels
And all the secret deals
He shares them behind their back
Knowing all they lack
He uses this to his advantage
But they start to love their cartilage
He gets then to just flesh and bone
And really makes then groan and moan
But it will be beneficial in the end
For they will surely heal and mend
It will be a long process
Helping us more or less
As long as nothing goes wrong
It won’t be very long
‘Til the time passes
And I need some glasses
It will be different now
And I’ll ask myself, “How?”
Author notes
this is a poem I wrote after I read the book "Twilight" by Stephanie Meyer. I think the book inspired me a little but I don't know exactly why I wrote the poem, it just flowed out of me.
