I've never thought of Faith like this! I guess it really is an excuse not to think in SOME ways.. x very good and different point of view

LOL I like and can see/understand your point of view. Though many may not agree, this is truth. But "faith" holds as many definitions/meanings as "love" (and "hate"). Never really thought about it til now. Curious. Truly thought provoking. Write on, poet. One.

obviously we have very differing beliefes. Just casue you have faith in something does not mean you don't have to think about. that can result in rash and harsh unthoughtout descions. but its your beilief not mine -

A thought provoking quote dear poet, maybe Faith can over-ride a need to think free thoughts for the self if the believer simply quotes from their chosen Faith's doctrines without having first questioned them. I digress but am reminded of a poet who sent me a searing message after reading a comment that I left another poet re Faith. He quoted several passages from the Bible to me, bless him it must have taken him ages and meant a lot to him for truly there were many. I asked him to please discuss his points with me via his own words and in his own voice and not quote from a book and he informed me he was Jesus, of all the times I searched for him little did I know that one day he would simply message me via ap! Good luck in the contest. Well done.
