The earth's her stage, the sky her backdrop,
celestial bodies her spectators, watching from rooftop.
She has taken a bow and all hearts have skipped a beat,
in anticipation to witness the greatest of all feat.
She slowly begins to perform with intense agility,
accelerating her motion with elegance and dexterity.
She dances it seems for ever, what day what night,
None want to leave, who wants to miss this blissful sight.
The world gets mesmerized with her beautiful dance,
eyes not blinking, lest they might miss a glance.
Author notes
dance is my passion. rest - the poem says it all.
