Little Memories

As I look back on my childhood,
I see I've done little I thought I would.
Still I can't help but to grin,
As I recall my life back then.

I remember how I used to like,
Riding with mom on her motorbike.
And I still recall how my dads lap,
Was once my favorite place to nap.

As little ones we're so sure of what we're going to do,
Til we wake up old,and find most our dreams never came true.
Still we somehow continue to cope,
Cause as kids our parents tought us how to hope.

They tought us about Jesus when we were small,
How He gave His life for the sins of all.
Their humbleness reminds us to strive not to sin,
So that like them,God's Grace,we too may win.

Now the memories of my childhood,
Will always cheer me up real good.
Knowing that no matter where I am today,
My parents lead me to seek the Lords way.
