three I think, I entered the erotic challenge, Sulphane's 13 parter, wait no it must be more because I'm in Friday's 5 part series and the quickie rounds contest and I remember entering one of Empathic Roses er... I really don't know, Pass lol

probably everyone I've ever met, in some way shape or form!

writing, reading, cooking, gardening, mashed potato, chocolate the list I think may be endless lol

offal, narrow mindedness, liars, red bull, hard cheese this list could be a long one too lol

10/ Why are you auditioning

I like a challenge and I like to write and to be perfectly honest for something to do, I'm here everyday, sometimes at the computer for hours at a time, it'll give me something interesting to think about; maybe help my writing improve, or in the very least it will stretch my imagination and hey ya never know I may even make new friends.

Segment two: Describe yourself
In poetry or prose I want you to describe to me and the other judges, who you are, what makes you unique, why do you write poetry. Just you. If your going to be apart of this contest then it's a nice thing to get to know each other seen as we could be working with each other.

I sit and write as-though I've nothing else to do
I could say I haven't, but it wouldn't be true
how do I explain, will you understand my need
If I tell you there's a hunger my writing helps feed
like something inside is fighting to get out
writing helps me face and understand my doubt
It takes away the pain by focusing my thoughts
aiding my escape from the mind-maze in which I'm caught
to get out of this maze, to set myself free
my page becomes a door my pen unlocks for me
as I enter my world I feel calm and I'm at peace
I'm anxious when I leave, just to say the least
no-one can take the contentment I feel away
but I know I'll have to find a job with pay
In my perfect world my words are my wealth
some people may say I think a lot of myself
I write from the heart I enjoy what I do
should I give it up for other people who
resent the fact their dreams faded, their hope died
so they take out their frustration by criticizing mine
for doing what I love they think I'm lazy
for saying what I think they say I'm crazy
I admit, I'm not perfect, I have faults, maybe more than many others
but I always read a book, I don't judge them by their covers,
I am a contradiction in terms, an addict it's been confirmed
I am not all that you see and I'll never be all I could be
but I'm free, Happy and I'm me.

Segment three: We challenge you to show us your best
Write a new piece of poetry or add in one of your old poems, but we want your best. however don't go for the one that you think will impress us most, choose the one you personally feel is your best write may it be old or new. we need to get to know your style of writing.


Behind these eyes {my favourite poem}

Behind these eyes, that can't contain my tears,
beats a heart that's filled with fears,
behind this smile, it's so painful making,
I hide the fact my heart is breaking,
behind this image, i allow outside to see,
beats a heart that longs to be free,
behind this masquerade, the life i'm living,
alone in a world that's cold and unforgiving,
Inside this prison, that is my mind,
detained under lock and key,
I recognize the shadow of a face,
that once belonged to me.
