Caution: the Poem for Kelsie

What is Kelsie? An intellectual asked herself. How could I possibly describe someone in one word? She is, after all, human, and humans generally take more than one word to describe. Perhaps I should list all of the things that she is and pick which some she is MOST. Yes, that would be wise. Or at least, it might start out being wiseish.

Kelsie is beautiful, young and fair. The bright sun complements her auburn hair. Her eyebrows lift in such a wonderful fashion, That makes me laugh at the strange attraction. Her sense of humor makes all laugh, And wise men giggle at her craft.

She’s someone nice to talk to,

She does crazy things like I do, But she does them sensibly, A trait much more needed in me. She’s smart, she has class. And she’s not a pain in the...neck. She’s helpful; she’s kind. Kelsie is full of non-absentmind. ...Or maybe she isn't. That information is intent On staying hidden That is it's bidin'. Overall, she's exceptionally good. I'm sorry--on her I spilled food.

Author notes

This was one of me bff's of grade school. I wrote her this poem and it's awesome, no matter what you think.
