Every sound,
I hear it
as if it's being screamed.
A motion of silence,
would you mind so much
if you taught me how to whisper?
All I seem to
do I shout
Make this stop.
Can you still hear me
from this distance?

Well done my fellow poet. You did a great job with this piece. Very descriptive and full of emotions. Thank you for sharing this with me and best wishes in all of your endeavors. Keep that pen handy and ever ready for use dear poet. Good luck in the contest!

Seems like a cool contest...=]
Great title prompt they provided.
Anyways, my favorite line:
"A motion of silence would mind so much if you taught me how to whisper?"
I actually don't think the comma after 'silence' is required.
Describing silence with movement is just...cool dude.
