Reflections of Imperfection

The ugly girl with the imperfect face,
Caught her reflection in the mirror.
With her crooked nose, and stringy hair, and her low social status,
who would care if she just disappeared.

Another lady entered the room, the same way as the first.
She caught her reflection in the mirror on the wall,
and didn't see a flaw in her perfection.
She was smug with her beauty, as she shoved the ugly girl aside.

An angle boy with eyes aglow,
and wings shimmering with gold.
Entered the room with intentions,
to see who was the better soul.

He looked at the pretty woman, who had no doubt in her eyes,
and a frown creased upon his face,
and his head he slowly shook.
And then the woman was gone.

The little angle turned to the eyes of the misshapen girl.
who had no hope in them for herself.
He said to her with a knowing tone,
"You are the better soul, although it's glow doesn't touch your face. And you will proceed to salvation, and you reflection of imperfection, will cease."
