Isn't it funny,
how we eat a good meal every day,
while there are people starving all over the world.

Isn't it funny,
how we can have two dollars for a bar of chocolate,
and nothing to give to the poor.

Isn't it funny,
how we can go shopping every other day,
but ignore the homeless lady, begging for change.

And isn't it funny,
how the government spends millions on workplace,
while there are homeless children living on the streets.

Isn't it funny,
how people always say,
"I always give to the poor"

They never do.

Isn't it funny,
how you can spend $50 on a new shirt,
and walk past a child wearing rags.

Isn't it funny,
how you can throw out a shirt when it has one hole,
instead of putting it in a collection bin.

Isn't it funny,
how we pretend to care,
but we never do anything.

Isn't it funny,
how we can have well paid jobs,
and pretend to be hard done by.
