I lay on my back and watch the star shine so bright,
Gleaming like the brightest diamonds I have ever seen.
All is quiet this late at night,
So all I have to do is watch the stars and dream.
Crickets chirp happily in the weeds nearby
Adding a song to the beauty that is all around me.
My eyes are glued to the midnight sky
As I soak in the peace that is all around.
Tomorrow may be another busy and stressful day,
I know that I will be alright.
For tonight, everything else can go away,
I am star gazing, after all.

lovely poem...star gazing is truly one of the simplest pleasures we tend to regret but surely one of the most relaxing moments that we could indulge in...you've filled your piece with lively images and heartwarming thoughts...and turned this piece to a very fantastic one!
