You can follow it
Study it
Defy it
Ignore it
Or even laugh at
The laws of physics.
A dream is a dream and nothing more
But what great things have come from this?
The aeroplane, and lots galore?
Perhaps these laws are a mysterious thing
Waiting to be broken.
Surely a candle would never burn water
But what can we say?
Live life to it's fullest!
Besides, it's more than a simple fantasy
A discovery is more like it
So, A BREAKTHROUGH! HAHA!
We've defied them again!
What's that I hear?
A celebration begins!

First off, I must say I love this background. When you sleep, I'm going to sneak around and find it, and steal it.
Secondly, I liked the poem. I didn't exactly LOVE it, but I did like it a lot. I think it got a bit cliche and unoriginal at the end, especially the last four lines. I liked the whole concept of the poem though. Our dreams determine the world around us. But hasn't many great scientific laws come from dreams (law of relativity). Good poem. good luck in the contest
Sincerely,
ModernXTimes
