She's not so sure
how to take this much longer.
She's sick of continuing let downs
and all his lovelss promises.
He's seeing her
as his heart broken mistake.
He's making rash decisions
and pushing her further away.
She's slipping into snow banks
creating her own slip up.
[She was the one at fault.]
This pretty little girl is crying
out her tears;
her body is exhausted
as she collapses yet deeper
frozen and alone.
The wind is whipping down alleyways
chilling her from the inside out.
She has no place to go anymore.
[She left all she ever knew for him]
She's taking out his truck tonight
while he sleeps quietly
behind closed doors.
She's driving under
Alaskan lights cutting across skies
but she doesn't take much
notice to them tonight.
She's sorting out her heart
wondering if she made the right decision.
She's hitting stoplights at a fast pace
not taking much time
to see whether they're green or red
[the roads are vacant anyway]
She drives for miles at a time
[then circles back]
She's going back to where her heart
is lying[unaware that she ever left]
She goes through the door
and lays beside him
curling into his sleeping body
realizing he's the right one for her
[her heart now lies beating with his]

Just my boyfriend, we're at this really weird road. And it's a total confusing thing. We're splitting up because of his job[army] But he knows, as i do, that we're supposed to be together.
so yeah, story of my life.

Things with chad are good...you know.
we've been hanging out and getting together a lot lately.
and idk, this boy in here is some guy i met...fell in head first and was forced to back away from when the army brought him to alaska...he'll be there for the next 3 years...idk if i can go up there with him.
it's too hard.
im sorry you haven't heard of him yet...jsut things were fine and good with us and yeah...now we fell apart because i got scared and walked away.

thats the thing hon.
we know we're supposed to be together for now. but there's no we in our future.
we have to split up for the better. He's in the army and was moved up to alaska and im stuck here in minnesota. I want to go up there with him but i can't give up my life here. He knows that...i know that. We thought we could get through it but it can't
