Rain of blood
Forever falls
Through dusty clouds
And forsaken hearts.
Forgotten momories
Flit carelessly by,
Bullets take lives
Of those who cry.
A gray mist hazes
The ground beneath,
A tombstone marks
The life lost to
Suicide
One soul lost
From among many.
Friends forever remember,
Hearts beat onward,
Memories fade with time...
The pain is swift in falling
And dreadfully slow in lifting.
Much like the dead man
From a grave, memories
Rise and fall like
Moisture from a tear...
Evaporation...
Precipitation...

very atmospheric
Beautiful words describing what is obviously a very personnal and tragic experience. It's just as well that memories fade, or could we stand the pain?

This is so true of this tragedy we call Suicide. You certainly captured the essence of it perfectly with this wonderful poem. Thank you so much for the entry.
