Melted hearts
with warm love
singing an ethereal strain
laughter bubbles
flush with innocence
frolicking in the benevolent sun rays
Hear me out
a voice screams
piercing the deadness of the quiet
a shaky perch
of reason held
in the doldrums of my mind
echoing sounds
falling on deaf ears
tired of hearing a word
the song of love
dies in silence
in verse there is a dearth
the gushing love
ebbs with the tides
away from an ernest heart
overwhelmed by pain
love is dead
pierced by a poison dart
the slit wrists
the trickle of blood
the die has already been cast
razor's edge
provides solace
haven achieved at last...
