Notes From You.
I dumped them onto the floor and I sat there reading every single line or at least the ones that said "I love you". All of our old movie tickets were also in the box where I put all my memories of you but I guess no matter HOW many times I read the line "I'm going to stop" it's never going to actually come true. Too bad you only cared about getting high or who's going to win the super bowl this year.
Its been 2 months and we talked to each other today. You told me how you've been going to therapy and how it's really helping you out, but Sweetie that doesn't matter, that doesn't reconstruct the hand you raised at my face.
"You Never forget your first love."
I keep saying that quote in my head and hoping this anxiety will disappear, but me and you both know I'm not that strong.
I guess It's true.

Oh wow! This is phenomenal. Such pain here, such emotion. What an unfortunate situation, to be in a breakup that's necessary, but painful all the same. Whether it's anger management or drug therapy, it's a heavy load to bear. I'm sorry you have to go through that. It's funny, but as I read this I thought how strange it is that we always seem to put memories in boxes... I've got one in my closet that I went through it several times following the heartbreak. Finally I taped it up and marked it "The boy I loved." It's been collecting dust for years. Anyway, This is an excellent piece, I wouldn't change a thing. You got straight to the point--it was awesome. Great write, and good luck in the contest, (...and everything else as well.) --Shannon
