A silence
Calm after the storm
Days golden, now silver
Tainted, oxidised slightly
Tarnished.
Deleted.
A message hidden there
Subtle, simple
Still screams obvious
A silence waiting to be broken
A churning,
Burning acidity
Anticipation with hooked barbs of sticklebacks
Mating inside the gut.

Wow, the imagery in this is truly stunning, I love every bit of it. I have a feeling this contest will be hard to judge
Thank you for entering.
