Unknown

Here lies unknown,

Somebody loved him,

Somebody's son.

Unknown it may say,

But to somebody,

He was known.

Mother waits in hope,

Maybe one day he'll come home,

Returning from unknown.

Beautifully tragic, It is like an invisible hand was reaching through the screen and touching my heart as I felt the Mothers pain

Thank you & Best of luck
    Stay safe

What a sad write, a mother's worst nightmare never knowing where there child is or if they are alright. My son is over in Iraq for the second time fighting and I worry each new day for his safety. Amazing imagery and emotion. No one should ever be forgotten. Thanks for writing such a heartfelt and so true to life write, good luck in the congest I know you will do well. Theresa

I am ex military, and seen too many 'Unknown' somebody out there knew them. It just seems so insufficient. As a mother not knowing would be horrific. Your son has my prayers for his safe return. I hope he gets the same sense of doing what is right that I got when I was in service.
