dark and light

inside my mind i remember when
i climbed the dark stairways
and felt the wind of freedom
ahh to walk that fine line
so young was i

now i walk the in the light
aged like fine wine
and thank GOD
for his set of foot prints
in the sand

Please tell me what you think

Where there is dark, there too is light. A very beautiful piece of writing Raggy. Short, but very profound.

great analogy-the set of footprints in the sand-and how so many can come out from their youth to suddenly, one day. see those footprints; right in front of them-that which was there all the time...excellent peom.

I agree that experiences help brighten our lives and leave deeper footrpints in the sands of time than one
    whom remains in the dark.

An excellent piece that is well versed with an abundance of imagery--Well Done --Favorite Stanza is

"Now I walk the in the light
    aged like fine wine
    and thank GOD
for his set of foot prints
    in the sand"

"ah to walk that fine line so young was i" a statement many can relate to my friend. The entire poem is reality. I thank God everyday. A wonderful well written poem. Peace in light and love.
